I have built a couple of the inshore models. They have been discontinued because of poor sales. They are still around, your best bet would be to contact a Tib distributor or talk to a Tib Prostaffer, that was the only way I got 4 blanks.

I bought a bunch of the glass blanks at blowout prices when they were closed out. Real nice rods, didn't mess with the graphite versions which I don't care for. Great deal now if you can find them. They just didn't sell for Tiburon to keep them.

May I ask why you do not care for the graphite versions?

thanks

Funny, the 4 I got were all graphite inshore blanks, 10-17 and 12-20, great bass rods for sure.

I talked to the Tiburon rep at the FH show and he said there is a group of people that are going to bring them back. He stated that to he has never had a broken blank returned to him. Point to note, they are made in Malaisa and not China.
