For sure! I forgot to mention that OLN (Outdoor Living Network), which I see via Comcast cable has their programming set up so that most of the programs seen aired at a given time is often shown again at another time/day too. (Not affiliated with either company)
Ron.... You are right. OLN (Outdoor Life Network, www.olntv.com) is very good to air programming at more times than scheduled. I have watched OLN for years and appreciate their class.
FSN West does the same thing for our show. We have three regularly scheduled times on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. Then FSN West will run our show sometimes as many as 4 additional airings per week. Of course we appreciate that also.
Another thing I like about OLN (I repeat, I'm not affiliated with them! ) is their easy-to-follow and complete cable/tv listings page.
I can go to... http://ww2.olntv.com/tvlistings/default.asp?nm=2 and check out as many days programs as I want. Other TV/cable channels tv schedules I've used are a pain in the neck. period!
Only thing I don't like about the OLN tv listings is that they don't have (I can't find one that works) a feature to switch from eastern time to pacific so ya always gotta count back! Shoot ..... I got enough trouble counting forward let alone .....
You know what Steak? I have been a fisherman locally in SoCal since I was a little kid back in the 50's. I have shot a lot of fishing video the last several years. And believe it or not, I still get a charge out of watching it even though I am actually the one who shot it to begin with. For me, capturing it all on video tape is as exciting as pulling on the rod. (Hard to Believe!)
Fishing television programs is something I watch a lot and thorougly enjoy. And yes, it makes me anxious as well to see yellowtail or tuna fishing on TV this time of year. Let's hope we have a good one this summer. That would be nice!!
I am going to Panama on my fishing vacation May 19. I always get my saltwater fishing "Fix" in Panama this time of year.
I don't know if you're into trout fishing, but my show next week is from Big Bear Lake with a lot of trout fishing action. Personally, I prefer salt over freshwater fishing anyday. But we do have a wide and diverse audience so at times we need to include the freshwater venues.
And thanks for watching !!
Danny
